Gaisma Theatre Group has exciting projects on the horizon, including a developmental reading of the new musical Photosynthesis by Claudine Mboligikpelani Nako at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute in Seattle (check out two songs from the musical performed at our company launch party in our performance archive!).

We need your help to grow as we expand our mission to support the musical theatre writers of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.

We’re launching a fundraising campaign called Help Us Grow, that will culminate in an evening of curated art on Monday June 2nd at the Cope Gillette Theatre in Everett.

Find more info about this event here!

Minimum costs for Photosynthesis include a $200 minimum participant stipend for the actors, creative team, and musicians, a $300 venue rental fee, $375 for venue staff, and $375 to rent rehearsal space. With your tax-deductible donation we could raise stipends, add rehearsal hours and musicians, and lower ticket prices.

We’re a small team that does a lot with very little. Your donation will make all the difference!

Gaisma is the Latvian word for light. Gaisma Theatre Group strives to offer light and support to communities through the work it produces.

We are an inclusive, 501c3 non-profit theatre company whose primary mission is to support the musical theatre writers of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
